Evesham’s tremendous form continued this evening in Oxfordshire when they recorded a comfortable 3-0 victory against Wantage Town. Played on a difficult surface, the visitors took the lead within the first minute when Jared Wilson scored with a shot from outside the box. He added a second in the 11th minute to put Evesham 2 up.

In the second half Evesham added a third in the 57th minute when George Washbourne scored a carbon copy of this goal at Sholing curling a shot from the left into the top corner.

Evesham dominated the match eventually winning 3-0, that is one defeat in 17, in third place with 11 games to play.  That is also 11 clean sheets in 16 matches.  Also completed a run of four consecutive away games, the next match being at home to Wimborne Town on Saturday.
