At this moment in time anti-racism education is as important as ever and all the money raised at the match will help us to continue to educate young people in schools.”

Vito Mauro , CEO of Growers United FC said;

” Growers United FC (GUFC) have a rich history of helping to raise funds for selected charities and we are extremely proud to have partnered with Show Racism the Red Card (SRtRC) to organise a charity football match. I have unfortunately witnessed racist attitudes being expressed in the local area and I therefore want to do what I can to tackle this problem. I continue to notice the way in which racism has shifted in terms of how people suffer racism and the way in which it is expressed. I believe that through anti-racism education we can tackle this problem which is bedded in the fabric of society.”
