At today’s meeting of the Appeals Board at Wembley Stadium the joint appeal by Godalming Town and Guildford City against the FA’s decision to switch the clubs to the South & West Division of the Southern League was dismissed. The outcome was final and binding therefore both teams will take their places in the South & West Division for 2013/14.
However the Appeals Board have instructed the FA Leagues Committee to conduct a comprehensive review of Step 4 and the allocation procedure prior to the 2014/15 season.
