Evesham travelled to Droitwich to play newcomers BGFC Ladies on a blustery Sunday with a strong squad of 16 players including two new signings. With the wind at their backs Evesham dominated the early exchanges with Sam Scully shooting straight at the keeper then dragging a shot wide.  Newcomer Natalie Potter had a shot which the keeper saved well.

With Evesham on top for long periods Droitwich broke away and only a fine tackle from Sam Perry prevented them from scoring a undeserved lead. Evesham finally scored when a Perry corner was hooked over the line by Scully with a half hit shot. Then a few minutes later Domi Mayhew scored with a fine finish in the top right corner. Play switched to the other end with keeper Lisa Cropper made a point blank save. .

Changes were made at half time with all the team getting game time.  Droitwich hit the crossbar with a free kick but Evesham scored  the all important third goal when a cross from Jess Dodsworth found the far post and went in the net. With Evesham relaxing the hosts did score a consolation goal  but the visitors looked the better side throughout with every player working hard for the victory.
