Playing against Calor League Premier Division promotion hopefuls Stourbridge tonight, Evesham came back magnificently from 2-0 down at half time to reach the Worcestershire Senior Cup Final against either Redditch United or Worcester City. Stourbridge have won this trophy for the last three years.

Tom Berwick put Stourbridge ahead on 28 minutes and it was soon 2-0 through Fitzpatrick which was the half time score. However in the second half Evesham came back strongly and Elliot Kennedy scored on 57 minutes.  Lance Smith equalised on 76 minutes to put the game into extra time.

Within two minutes former Evesham keeper Dean Coleman gave away a penalty which Jared Wilson scored.  Soon after Stourbridge themselves were awarded a spot kick which Louie Barnfather saved from Sean Geddes.   In the second period of extra time Evesham’s Carl Brown was sent off for two yellow cards in a minute. Evesham held on to secure a place in the final.
