Evesham United were thwarted in their attempt at a much needed victory.  Carl Brown on his debut, after signing from nearby Bishops Cleeve in the week, put the home side ahead after 8 minutes.  Henry Eze then scored with a volley on 28, before Brown added his second on the half an hour.  On 38 minutes the floodlights failed and despite frantic efforts to fix the problem the referee abandoned the match.

It was a great shame as 306 people had turned up, including ex players and many friends of Neil Emms who recently passed away.  They witnessed the laying of flowers on the centre circle before the match and took part in a minutes silence.
