Evesham progressed to the First Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy with a come from behind victory over Chasetown in a replay.

Chasetown had the better of the first half and they deservedly went ahead with a  Ryan Wynter goal in the 20th minute after a fine flowing move.

After the break Evesham came out a different team and equalised when a Nick Stanley cross was turned in from close range by Adam Mann in the 53rd minute.  On 64 minutes, Dan Macdonald was fouled in the box and captain Matt Sysum converted the resultant penalty. Evesham continued to create the better chances and had a goal disallowed when Sysum was adjudged to have fouled keeper Jon Batemen whilst heading home.

Evesham now play Southern Premier League Redditch United on Saturday 31st October.
