Evesham Utd Ladies 1 vs Hereford Ladies Lads Club 2

Evesham hosted league leaders Hereford Ladies Lads Club who arrived with only ten players on a blustery day. Evesham had their only chance of the first half early when Sam Scully poked her shot wide after challenging a loose ball with the keeper. Despite being a player short the visitors had a shot cleared off the line by the hosts and were looking the better side being first to the ball and stronger in the tackle. They deservedly took the lead on the half hour with a good finish to take the lead.

Five minutes into the second half they doubled their lead with a shot over keeper Lisa Cropper. Then a free kick hit the Evesham bar, but out of the blue a long ball over the top found Domi Mayhew who finished well.  This gave Evesham confidence and they had their best spell of the game and looking more threatening up front, but the visitors held on for a deserved victory.
