Ladies Win at Weekend

Evesham United Ladies travelled to Worcester to play WTC Raiders last Sunday with only nine players available and came away with a 1-0 victory.

The goalscorer being Sophie Griffiths with a 25 yard screamer from the right hand side. Evesham had further chances, but they were reluctant to shoot.

Lisa Cropper had another fine game in goal and Nicole Maher had a great game in defence to snuff out the WTC forwards.
