Evesham moved up to fifth place in the League after a comfortable 3-1 victory over Yate Town who had won their last three games.

The first half was the best seen this season at the Jubilee and if more of the clear cut chances had been taken the home side could have had 7 or 8.  However three goals were scored.

The first in the 7th minute cane after a Jordan Bryan defence splitting pass to Lance Smith who beat the offside trap and squared the ball to Adam Mann who scored into an empty net from ten yards.

It was 2-o on 19 minutes when a Joe Turley cross took a massive deflection off a defender that looped over the goalkeeper and hit the crossbar straight to Lance Smith who headed home.

In the 35th minute it was three when Liam Harding scored a rare goal with a towering header from a corner,

The second half was a more even affair with Yate spurning a couple of decent chances and likewise Evesham.

In the very last minute, Yate scored a consolation goal through Luke Bryan.
