    Evesham lost tonight’s Red Insure Cup match at Stratford Town.  Playing a weakened team in view of the FA Cup match on Saturday, the visitors had the best of the opening exchanges with Aaron Drake testing the keeper with a couple of shots and Kevin Slack having an effort cleared off the line.  In the 24th minute a Jack Watts effort was also cleared off the line before Simeon Tulloch put the ball in the Evesham net but it was ruled offside.

  • Trip to Stratford Tonight in League Cup

    Evesham travel to league leaders Stratford Town tonight in the Red Insure Cup First Round, kick-off 7.45pm.  If the scores are level at 90 minutes, the game will go straight to penalties.

  • Williams Re-Signs On Loan

    Striker Harry Williams has re-signed for a second month on loan from League Two Cheltenham Town.  The agreement was confirmed this week. Harry has so far started two games and came off the bench twice, scoring an impressive four goals.

  • It’s Bromley in the FA Cup

    Tonight in the replay Bromley comfortably defeated Grays Athletic 5-0 and will be our FA Cup opponents at the Jubilee Stadium on Saturday 25th October (3pm).  With Shortwood going out to Bath City tonight we are the only team left in the FA Cup from Southern League Division 1 South & West.
    Bromley are 5th in Conference South and their manager is former Crystal Palace Chairman Mark Goldberg.

    On a cold dank Sunday afternoon Evesham welcomed the league newcomers WCT Raiders.  Within five minutes of the start Evesham were 1 – 0 up with a lob from Rosie Johns over the keeper. A few minutes later a defensive mix up within the Raiders back line caused the ball to fall to Sam Scully who then slotted it home to make the score 2 – 0. The rest of the first half was a bit mundane with the exception of Sophie Griffiths looking dangerous on the right wing.

    Evesham United Colts Under-15s got their second win of the Ambassador Evesham Football League with a 3-0 win over Bidford Juniors Pioneers. With both sides not at their best, Evesham broke the deadlock, with Will McGarr after a quick passage of passing play. Few chances were created until a long ball into the box from Ajay Millward, saw Will McGarr knock the ball on into the net, scoring his 12th goal of the league campaign.
