  • Evesham United vs Hereford FC Ticket Arrangements

    We entertain Champions Hereford FC at the Spiers & Hartwell Jubilee Stadium on Easter Monday (17th April), kick off 3pm.  This will be a crucial game for us as we strive to make the League play-offs.
    On the advice of the Southern League the game is all ticket and tickets have now gone on sale.
    For those in person, they are available from Evesham United Football Club at the following times:
    Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm, plus at the home game with Mangotsfield United on Saturday 8th April.

    On the day that Hereford clinched the Evo-Stik Southern Division One South & West title, Evesham boosted their play-off ambitions with an impressive 2-0 victory against Taunton Town in front of a crowd of 323 at the Jubilee Stadium.     Evesham secured an excellent win after overcoming second placed Taunton Town at the Jubilee today.
    The visitors started brightly and dominated possession in the Evesham half for the first fifteen minutes.  The hosts came back into the game with Haskayne, Magee and Bryan all having opportunities.  Just past the half hour mark, Jordan Bryan collected the ball in the middle of the park and in the absence of any meaningful challenge ran half the pitch to drive across Lloyd Irish into the far corner.

    Evesham failed to take advantage of scoring an early goal and had to settle with a 1-1 draw with fellow play-off hopefuls Swindon Supermarine at the Jubilee Stadium on Wednesday night. Mark Magee fired the Robins ahead after just 22 seconds in this rearranged Evo-Stik Southern South & West fixture after the original fixture in February was abandoned due to floodlight failure, but Swindon replied through Josh Parsons just after half-time and the visitors will be kicking themselves for not going on to win the game after missing a number of gilt-edged chances in the second half.

    Leading marksman Lance Smith looks set to miss Evesham United’s clash with fellow play-off hopefuls Taunton Town at the Jubilee Stadium tomorrow (3pm) according to the Worcester News.
    Smith has bagged 26 goals this term but could be sidelined with an ankle problem for “a week or two”, according to boss Paul Collicutt.
    Midfield duo Ashley Williams and Carl Brown are both unavailable due to weddings.
    Fifth-placed Evesham are preparing for a physical challenge from second-placed Taunton in Southern League Division One South and West.
