    It was a case after the Lord Mayor`s show for a tired looking Evesham side who surrendered their unbeaten away record in the Evo-Stik South & West division at Mangotsfield United. Over the years Cossham Street has never been a happy hunting ground for Evesham and so it proved again on Tuesday night.

    Evesham lost their first away league game of the season going down 3-0 at Mangotsfield Utd tonight and dropped to 15th in the table.
    Debutant Lewis Hogg put the home side in front in the 13th minute.  The lead was doubled in the 34th minute when Gary Colborne headed home at the near post.
    On the hour the game was settled when Lewis Powell shot from 25 yards to make it 3-0.

  • Trip to Mangotsfield Tonight

    Evesham Utd return to Southern League Division 1 South & West action tonight with a trip to 16th placed Mangotsfield United (7.45pm).  After the FA Cup exploits on Saturday, they will be keen to preserve their unbeaten away league record.  Kevin Sawyer and Matt Sysum retun to the club they played for last season.
    The home side have won three of their six home games this season, but lost their last three league games overall.

    Evesham`s dreams of reaching the First Round proper of the FA Cup for the second time in their history were dashed at the Jubilee Stadium when Danny Waldren scored twice for big spending Bromley in front of United`s biggest crowd of the season. Waldren struck at the start of each half to send the Ravens through butit was Seb Brown who was Bromley`s hero, the former AFC Wimbledon and England C international goalkeeper, produced some breathtaking saves to keep Evesham at bay as Paul Collicutt`s side for long periods outplayed the Vanarama Conference South high-flyers.

  • FA Cup Result: Evesham Utd 1 vs Bromley 2

    Evesham’s FA Cup run came to an end today losing a fantastic match 2-1 to Conference South Bromley in front of a crowd of  811.
    Waldren put Bromley in front in the 6th minute  with a shot. Evesham pressed for an equaliser with Smith. Jackson, Brown and  Edenborough all  going close. Bromley threatened on the break. Ashley Edenborough scored the leveller just before half time heading home George Washbourne ‘s corner.
    After the break, Bromley went ahead when Waldren headed home from a corner.
    The game continued to be end to end, but Evesham failed to score a deserved equaliser.

  • FA Cup Preview

    It is the eve of the biggest game for the club since our First Round game at Torquay United in 2008.  Tomorrow we host Conference South outfit Bromley (3pm) in the fourth and final qualifying round hoping to go one step further for only the second time in our history.
    According to the Worcester News manager Paul Collicutt wants Evesham United to use the FA Cup to demonstrate the potential he believes the club has.

  • Forthcoming Fixtures for Reserves and Youth Team

    On Saturday 25th October the Reserves are at Perrywood in the Worcestershire FA Junior Cup First Round, kick-off 2pm.
    On Thursday 30th October the Youth Team go to Stratford Town in the Third Round of the Midland Floodlit Youth League Cup, kick-off 7.45pm.
    The Reserves game at Romulus is now on Saturday 1st November, kick-off 3pm.
