    Evesham went in to the top of the table clash with Hereford LC with only 11 players due to injuries. Evesham started strongly against the wind but the final ball was just to strong. Hereford were looking dangerous on the break and took the lead on 10 minutes when a high ball from the right was headed in from close range.     Red-hot Evesham gained revenge for a 2-1 defeat earlier in the season by comprehensively beating AFC Totton at the Testwood Stadium in the Evo-Stik Southern South & West Division. The well deserved win keeps United on course for a play-off place and extends the Robins excellent run of results to just one defeat in 19 games.

    Evesham made another long trip to the South Coast taking on AFC Totton and came away with another convincing win to make it just one defeat in 19 matches.
    Evesham took the lead in the 7th minute when Ashley Edenborough headed in Lee Smith’s cross from the left.  Totton equalised in the 16th minute when Taylor Edwards headed home a corner kick.  It was 1-1 at the break.
    The visitors took the lead again in the 57th minute when Edenborough latched on to a ball over the top from goalkeeper Kevin Sawyer to score his second of the game.

  • Games at Jubilee Coming Up

    There are three home games in three consecutive days for other Evesham United teams.  Tomorrow the Reserves entertain top of the table Romulus Reserves at the Jubilee Stadium in the Midland Reserve League Division 1, kick off 3pm.
    On Sunday, EveshamUnited Ladies entertain Hereford LC Ladies in a top of the table clash in the Midwest Counties Female Football League.  Hereford are top but Evesham are second 9 points behind but with two games in hand, kick off 2pm.
    On Monday, the Youth team host Bromsgrove Sporting Youth in the Midland Floodlit Youth League, kick off 7.45pm.

    Ashley Edenborough`s equaliser two minutes from time rescued a point for Evesham United who had to settle for a 2-2 draw with Wimborne Town in the Evo-Stik Southern South & West Division.     It was four seasons in one day at the Jubilee Stadium this afternoon, with sun, rain, a hail storm, cold and rainbows.
    Evesham entertained mid-table Wimborne Town and took a deserved lead in the 12th minute when an Adam Mann lay-off went to Jared Wilson who scored with a shot from just inside the box.  Evesham should have added more goals in the first half, but poor finishing was the order of the day.  The best chance for Wimborne saw a defensive slip latched on to by their forward who rounded Kevin Sawyer and shot, but it was brilliantly cleared off ...

    Evesham United play at the Jubilee Stadium for the first time in February tomorrow as they look to continue their fine run of form in Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South and West according to the Worcester News. The high-flying Robins, who have won three and drawn one of four consecutive away games, host mid-table Wimborne Town (3pm).
