Banbury-based Boyland has been number two to boss Paul Collicutt at the Jubilee Stadium for just over two years.
Boyland is about to become and grandfather for the first time and his job has caused him to miss a handful of games this season.
Collicutt said: “Boylo and I go back a long way and he’s been great for me over the past two seasons.
“He’s the calm one and he looks at things differently. Everyone at Evesham United is appreciative of what he has done ...

  • Match Report: Marlow 0 vs Evesham Utd 3

    April 25, 2016

United ended their Evo-Stik Southern South & West Division fixtures on a winning note after a one-sided affair at the Alfred Davis Stadium. United went into the game knowing their play-off hopes had disappeared in midweek but nevertheless put in a dominant display to clinch an 11th league victory on the road this season. In front of Marlow`s biggest crowd of the season and boosted by another sizeable following from the Vale, it was one-way traffic from the start but United had to wait 23 minutes before taking the lead. Carl Brown made ground down the right before finding Karnell Chambers and the Cheltenham Town youngster confidently found the ...

  • Result: Marlow 0 vs Evesham Utd 3

    April 24, 2016

Evesham completed their league programme with a convincing 3-0 victory at Marlow.  Frustratingly the visitors finished just two points off the final play-off place after winning 11 of their last 13 matches.
Evesham took the lead midway through the first half when Cheltenham Town loanee Karnell Chambers scored after great work by Adam Mann and Carl Brown on the right wing.  On the stroke of half time it was two when a Carl Brown cross was headed into the bottom corner by Clayton Green.

  • Last Game of Season Tomorrow

    April 22, 2016

Paul Collicutt says anyone who thinks Evesham United have underachieved this season is mistaken according to the Gloucestershire Echo.
Winchester City’s 1-1 draw at Slimbridge on Wednesday mathematically ended Evesham’s hopes of another play-off appearance, despite an excellent second half to the campaign.
They round it off at Marlow tomorrow (3pm), when a win will guarantee sixth place ahead of Shortwood United.
“People talk and some will be saying we have underachieved, but I disagree and I think we overachieved last season,” Collicutt said.
“We were a surprise package and when you reach the play-offs expectations go up.
    “We didn’t make a great start and we’ve ...
