    Evesham continued their fine form today with a hard fought 1-0 victory over a good Mangotsfield side who on another day may have done enough to earn a point.
    Evesham had the better of the first half with the best chance falling to Sean Wood in the 40th minute when his shot hit the corner of post and bar.  Then a minute before half-time a Wood free-kick was headed home by former Mangotsfield player and skipper Matt Sysum to give the home side a deserved lead.

    Evesham United are out for revenge on Mangotsfield United tomorrow as they seek to stretch their unbeaten run in Southern League Division One South and West to 12 matches according to the Worcester News.
    The Robins have climbed to fourth in the table following last Saturday’s remarkable 4-3 victory at Swindon Supermarine, in which they hit back from 3-1 down to triumph despite having keeper Kevin Sawyer sent off after just 13 minutes.
    But tomorrow they face a Mangotsfield side at the Jubilee Stadium (3pm) who beat them 3-0 in October.

    Tonight’s league match at Wantage Town has been postponed following a pitch inspection due to a frozen pitch.  This is the second time the fixture has fallen foul of the weather, with the original match postponed on New Years Day.

    Despite having goalkeeper Kevin Sawyer sent-off in the first half and trailing 3-1 after 25 minutes, Evesham showed their battling qualities and team spirit to hit back to beat Swindon Supermarine for their fourth double in the Evo-Stik Southern South & West Division.

    After last weeks 12-0 defeat of Welland Ladies, Evesham travelled to play Worcester Olympia today and came away with a comfortable 4-1 victory.  Hannah Campbell, Grace Harker, Sam Scully and Natasha Bryant, making her debut, scored the goals.  Next match Wyre Forest Ladies at home kick off 2.00pm.

    Evesham secured one of the finest comebacks in recent times coming back from 3-1 down to win 4-3 at Swindon Supermarine.  To make it more remarkable Evesham were reduced to 10 men as early as the 13th minute, with goalkeeper Kevin Sawyer sent off for bringing down a Swindon forward.  Midfielder Liam Harding went in goal but could not prevent the penalty being scored to make it 2-1.
    Earlier the home side went a goal up after a minute through Waldron.  George Washbourne equalised for the visitors in the 6th minute with a super strike into the top corner from 20 yards. ...
