Evesham came away tonight from neighbours Bishops Cleeve with a tremendous 5-0 victory in front of a healthy crowd of 281.

After a quiet first half an hour Evesham came to life scoring three times in eight minutes.  First a Binns free kick fell to Watts who passed to new signing Ethan Moore who chested the ball home.  Then a minutes later a Binns cross was sidefooted home by Watts.  In the 38th minute Marcus Jackson was fouled in the box and Jared Wilson converted the penalty.

A minute into the second half a Wood corner was flicked on for Kennedy who tapped in at the far post.  Then in the 53rd minute a Jackson through ball was taken on by Ashley Edenborough who from a tight angle smashed the ball into the top corner off the underside of the bar, an early contender for goal of the season.

Evesham Utd: Sawyer, M. Jackson, Binns, Wilson, Sysum, Dovey, Kennedy, Wood (Drake 76), Edenborough, Moore (Slack 63), Watts (Tambling 63)
