Evesham won their sixth consecutive league game this afternoon with a convincing 3-0 victory at Clevedon Town.

Evesham went in front on twenty minutes when a long goal-kick from Kevin Sawyer, found Nick Stanley all on his own behind the defensive line and he had the easiest of runs before slipping the ball past the advancing keeper.  On the half hour he bagged again scoring at the back post after a Sean Wood corner.

In the second half, George Washbourne crossed from the left in the 55th minute and Adam Mann put the chance away.

Ashley Edenborough and Lance Smith both went close late on.

Evesham have conceded just one goal in six games and are top of the form guide based on this period of games.  We have also gone to fifth place in the league and now in the play-offs.

Full report to follow.
