Evesham came from behind to beat Winchester City tonight to remain in third place.

Buoyed by seven victories from their last eight Southern League Division One South & West games, Winchester City looked good for another when Craig Feeney followed up with a header after ‘keeper Kevin Sawyer had parried Howard Neighbour’s first-time shot in the 28th minute.

Following the break it was a different story, with Lance Smith scoring clinically two minutes into the half, midway through the home side took the lead when Liam Harding had time to shoot into the bottom corner from the edge of the box, and Adam Mann sealed the visitors fate in the 73rd minute with a cool finish from 20 yards.
