Evesham ended a three match losing streak at home on Saturday by beating FA Cup giant killers Yate Town 3-0 at the Jubilee Stadium. Under the control of caretaker manager Paul West the first half was goal-less. Within a minute of the restart returning Simon Fitter scored with a powerful drive. Top scorer Marcus Palmer scored on 54 minutes and added his second with 20 minutes left. This completed Evesham’s first double of the season.
