Evesham United played their fourth friendly of the season against Southern Premier League side Stratford Town and it turned into a nightmare.

The hosts went behind in the 14th minute when Stratford took the lead through Richard Gregory.

The 33rd minute saw the first of four goals scored up to half time by Angus, Evesham old boy Simeon Tulloch who grabbed two and Gregory again.

Three minutes into the second half it was six through Gregory and seven on 55 by Gregory again who scored four in the game.

In the 57th minute a trademark header by Matt Sysum saw Evesham finally pull a goal back. A minute later Adam Mann bagged.  Mann hit his second and Evesham’s third with 20 minutes left, leaving a 7-3 defeat.
