Evesham went nap today with a fine performance at fifth placed Mangotsfield and make it three wins in a week.

In the 18th minute Lance Smith instead of opting to shoot inside the box squared to Lorcan Sheehan finding himself in space and fired across Phillips for their opener.

Seven minutes later, a cross from the visitors’ left by Lewis Binns was met by Tom Warren who put the ball in his own net as Adam Mann was lurking for a tap-in.

Soon after, Liam Monelle latched onto a defensive mistake and lobbed the advancing Kevin Sawyer to make it 1-2.

The Mangos failed to learn their lesson as Sheehan found space down the left-side and crossed for Lance Smith who finally converted home to give the visitors breathing space at 3-1.

In the 78th minute an in swinging corner wasn’t dealt with, it was Smith who converted home from close range at the back-post.

The visitors made it five after good work by Smith and Mann,  the ball fell for Paul Fahy who rolled it home with ease.

With Tiverton Town losing at home, Evesham moved up to second place.
