Evesham made the trip to North Shropshire to take on Northern Premier League First Division South side Market Drayton Town in the Emirates FA Cup Preliminary Round.

The visitors took the lead in the 18th minute when a Matt Sysum clearance header, was picked up by Paul Fahy and his pacy run down the left and deflected cross found Nick Stanley who scored from close range.

Midway through the second half it was two, excellent work by Lewis Binns and Joe Turley on the left set up Adam Mann for a trademark finish.

Evesham earned £1,925 for winning in this round and now play at home to Barwell of the Northern Premier League in the 1st Qualifying Round on Saturday 3rd September.
