Evesham moved up to sixth place in the league table with a convincing 3-0 win at lowly Paulton Rovers this afternoon.

In the first half Evesham had most of the possession but could not create any clear-cut chances.

The second half, just like last week, was a different matter. In the 54th minute Paul Fahy put Evesham ahead.  The visitors soon had the ball in the net again but it was disallowed for a foul, with Paulton themselves having a goal chalked off for offside.

With 20 minutes left Nick Stanley doubled Evesham’s lead and in the 79th minute substitute Elliot Kennedy made it three.

An encouraging performance going on to the next match at home to Yate Town on Tuesday.
