Evesham travelled to Slimbridge today on the back of seven games without a win in all competitions.

Adam Mace put the Swans in front after eight minutes at Thornhill Park with a classy finish following a counter attack.  Lewis Powell equalised in the 44th minute with a header after a fine cross from the right to make it 1-1 at the break. Matt Liddiard made it 2-1 to Evesham in the 56th minute with a trademark header from inside the six yard box, but Marley Thomas made it 2-2 five minutes later just after the sending off of Jack Twyman of Slimbridge.

Powell added his second in the 87th minute, with substitute Max Harper-Emerson scoring a minute later for Slimbridge’s third.

Evesham are in fifth place and have now lost just one away league game this season.  We make the short trip to Bishops Cleeve on Tuesday and then host leaders Taunton Town on Saturday.
