Evesham returned from Somerset with a point at fourth-placed Taunton Town today.

The visitors conceded another early goal when Price headed home unmarked from a corner.  Adam Mann, on loan from Gloucester City, striking  the crossbar and Matt Sysum heading wide were the best opportunities for Evesham in the first half.

Evesham had lots of possession in the second half without creating clear cut chances.  However in the second minute of injury time, Evesham had a corner which keeper Kevin Sawyer came into the opposition box for.  His presence caused confusion and a handball ensued against a Taunton defender.  Skipper Matt Sysum converted the penalty and Evesham collected a deserved point.

Evesham United: Sawyer, Wilson, Wellon, Harding, Sysum, Dovey, Jackson, Stanley, Palmer (Wood 73), Mann, Slack (Drake 63)
