Evesham dropped to tenth place yesterday after losing their Evo-Stik South West match 2-0 against promotion rivals Winchester City who rose to third place.

It was two substitutes – Rob Carr and IK Hill – who grabbed the all-important second-half goals for the home side.

Carr was instrumental in the second goal too – goalkeeper Kevin Sawyer unable to hold his shot, allowing Hill to bury the loose ball.

Evesham have now won just two league games in ten and the next match is on Sunday against Swindon Supermarine.
