Manager Paul Collicutt believes Evesham United’s clash at Swindon Supermarine tomorrow (3pm) will show “how strong or weak” his team are according to the Evesham Journal.

The Robins are sixth in Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South and West after a promising start to the season.

And Collicutt, who has aspirations of finishing in the top five, said he was looking forward to “comparing” his side against fourth-placed Supermarine.

“The lads have done well recently, so we will go there in good spirits,” he said.

“But this is a team who are fourth in the table and have been scoring goals for fun.

“So it’s a chance for us to compare ourselves against a side who will be up there at the end of the season. It will judge how strong or weak my team are.”

Midfielder Jordan Bryan is a “major doubt” after suffering an ankle injury in Evesham’s 1-0 win over Shortwood United in the FA Trophy last weekend, while defender Linden Dovey has a calf problem.

Collicutt added: “We have had some good matches with Supermarine in the last two seasons, so it will be another close affair and I expect there to be goals as well.

“I am really looking forward to it.”
