13.9.14 Evesham Utd Colts U11s 4 Bidford Rockets 2

A newly formed Evesham Under 11’s side began the season in Pool C of the Ambassador League with a hard fought 4-2 victory.

After a nervy first half which saw the Robins lead 1-0, thanks to a goal from Finlay Armento after a mazy run and fine cross from Luke Hulme, The Robins then went on to dominate the early part of the second half and soon raced into a 4-0 lead, thanks to further goals from Reagan Martin who coolly slotted the ball past the advancing keeper, Luke Hulme after another mazy and powerful run from inside his own half which ended in another neat finish and another well taken goal from Antonio Pirelli after a defence splitting pass from new signing Ollie Johns.

With many substitutions made in the second half due to the size of the current squad and players coming on in different positions, Bidford came back into the game with 2 goals near the end to setup a nervous finish, but the Robins managed to hold on and record the victory in this new campaign.

The Robins are at home again next week where they will look to build on a good, but not spectacular start.
