The first ever training sessions on the pitches surrounding the Spiers and Hartwell Jubilee Stadium took place on Monday 2nd July. Various junior age groups took part, designed to showcase the Youth Section as part of the Evesham Festival of Sport. This continues all week. See previous posts for details.
The moment was six years in the making and one many were proud to see.
The first match at the Stadium is on Saturday with the Manchester United Legends returning to the town for a match aginst the Evesham United Old Boys. Ron Atkinson will open the new ground around 2.15pm.
