20 year-old goalkeeper Lewis Clayton has committed to Evesham United after playing last season for league rivals Cirencester Town.

The former Cheltenham Town youth team player, also had a spell playing in Sweden with fourth tier club IFK Mora, having spent most of the season before at Bishop’s Cleeve.

Bishops Cleeve captain Adam Mace has also committed to the Robins and will join up with his former teammate Clayton. Defender Mace, 25, was with Cheltenham Town until under-16 level, spending time at Bishop’s Cleeve and Shortwood United before joining Slimbridge in 2013. He has been at Cleeve for the past two seasons.
