Evesham entertained second in the league Bridgnorth Ladies with 10 players available and Bridgnorth started with 9 players. From the start the game was very scrappy with the strong wind playing havoc.

Bridgnorth with the wind in their favour were on top winning the midfield battle and having a number of corners, but Evesham defending well as a team tackling and blocking all the visitors attacks and having half chances of their own but shooting weakly.
Bridgnorth then had 11 players just before half-time, with the half finishing 0-0.

The second half started and the visitors scored within 10 minutes. Evesham woke up and were on the front foot with goalkeeper Lisa Cropper narrowly wide with a massive clearance. Further chances for Nicole Maher and Grace Harker went close. Bridgnorth still looked dangerous on the break, but further chances fell to Hannah Campbell and Sam Scully with the wind making it difficult to control the ball. A draw would have been a fair result, but the strong wind was the winner in a close game.
