Evesham United entertained Bolehall Swifts from the Midland Combination in today’s Preliminary Round of the FA Cup.  Bolehall took the lead midway through the first half by a Packer goal and this was held until half time and was thoroughly deserved.

The introduction of Carl Brown at half-time soon paid dividends when he scored three minutes into the second half.  On 64 minutes Marcus Palmer slotted home from a Michael Tambling cross.  The improved second half performance was enough to put Evesham through to entertain Stourbridge on Saturday 14th September.
