Manager Paul Collicutt has challenged his Evesham United side to improve their away form as they look to climb the Southern League Division One South and West table writes Steve Carley of the Worcester News.

The Robins have won only once away in the league this season in eight attempts — 3-1 at Didcot Town in October — and have picked up just six points on their travels.

Today, they head to Godalming Town, who lie one place below the Robins on goal difference, (3pm) looking to build on last Saturday’s 1-1 home draw against Tiverton Town.

Collicutt said: “Our away form has been disappointing, we haven’t scored many goals or taken many points. We have had one away so we are looking to improve that and it’s something we need to look at.”

Attacking midfielder Marcus Jackson is facing six to eight weeks on the sidelines after suffering a broken hand, while midfielder Mitchell Botfield has a foot injury.

Centre-half Alton Axton (mouth abscess) is a doubt for the weekend but striker Lance Smith could start following a calf strain.
