I’d like to thank Evesham FC, The Junior Team and especially Dave Giles for making our Junior Bull members and their families feel so welcome at your club on Easter Monday. We all had a wonderful day
Our player escorts had an amazing day and loved walking out with their team, their day was complete when Dave Giles invited them onto the pitch at half time for a kick around with your Junior Team.
The faces of all of the youngsters was a picture to behold – I’ve never seen so many happy and excited youngsters at an away game this season.
Free sausage and chips were much appreciated and your face painting lady was amazing – please pass on our thanks to her, I’ve received many comments from parents that the kids are still refusing to wash!!
HFC Junior Bulls have worked hard this season to make our club a family friendly club and it was especially important for me as Junior co-ordinator to try and regain people’s confidence in travelling away with families after the recent negative press that HFC received due to a handful of mindless people at away games.
Many of our families that travelled with us were experiencing their first away travel and thanks to the welcome we received from you it has given them the confidence to travel again next season. I hope we find clubs that are as family friendly as yours so the experience can be repeated.
All the best in the play-offs it would be great if our teams can meet again next season
