Evesham Ladies returned after five weeks without a game to record a comfortable 2-0 defeat of a spirited Droitwich BGFC.

The hosts scored early in both halves the first a goal from Natalie Potter high into the roof of the net after a fine move with Domi Mayhew. The visitors were having lots of possession without having a shot at goal. Evesham had further chances through Emily Young, Amy Summers  and Tash Bryant, but the shooting was off target when well placed.

The second half started with a strong wind at their backs with Mayhew scoring the second goal with a fine finish then hitting the crossbar with Evesham dominating the play.  Changes were made giving game time to all of the squad  ahead of a tough trip to Hereford Lads Club next week. Droitwich had their only chance late on but sub keeper Jess Dodsworth made a fine save diving to her left.

A comfortable win but a lot of chances were missed in front of goal. A special mention to the Royal Oak of Evesham for supplying jackets for the Ladies for this season.  This is very much appreciated.
