The first half saw the Barnstaple keeper not having to make a worthwhile save with Mark Magee and Ashley Williams having the best chances.  The visitors best opportunity fell to Liam Gregory who had two shots blocked.

Ashley Edenborough scored the only goal two minutes into the second half, the first since his return to the club.   An initial pass from Nick Stanley saw Adam Mann run into the box on the left and with space crossed to Edenborough who easily scored from close range. Soon after Barnstaple had the ball in the net, but the goal was chalked off for offside to the dismay of the Devonians.

A rasping drive from Bradley Gray and two great crosses from Lewis Binns not converted were the best chances for the rest of the game.

Not a fluent performance but considering the number of injuries and suspensions it was not surprising.  This means back to back wins and remain in fifth place. It was the first clean sheet in nine games.
