It was the Ambassador League Semi-final weekend and five Evesham United sides were in action. Two were victorious and three were beaten.
The two teams that went through to their Finals were the Under 9s Panthers who defeated Eckington Juniors 2-1 after extra time in the Plate competition with a last minute winner and the Under 15s Colts who beat Drakes Broughton 3-1.
Three teams lost in their semi-finals. The Under 11 Robins lost 5-1 at home to Bidford Bombers, the Under 16s Colts went down 4-1 at home to Inkberrow and the Under 18s Colts were narrowly beaten 5-4 aet by Wychbold Juniors also at home. Commiserations to them.
