Evesham United failed to win again after they drew 0-0 with Wimborne Town despite being down to ten men late into the second half.

The first 25 minutes of the game was very dull and flat and took until the 26th minute for the first shot to take place but was saved comfortably by Ross Flitney.

Just under ten minutes later, Levi Steele was put through on goal one-on-one with Wimborne’s number one, but the goalkeeper made an excellent save. Apart from the Steele chance there was no real cut chances in a dull half.

The second half started in a much brighter light and the first chance arose in the first minute after a lay off from Steele allowed Amer Awadh to get in a position from shooting range but his effort sailed over the bar.

Just over 15 minutes from time Charlie Wise was shown a second yellow card for bringing down Jack Lovell on the left-hand side just outside the box.

Five minutes from time it looked like the visitors had taken the lead, however the flag was raised for offside.

The last ten minutes told the whole story of the game, with it feeling like the opening ten minutes with each team cancelling each other out.
