Late success for Evesham

Report by Ash Symonds
Evesham United secured a last-gasp victory at the Spiers & Hartwell Stadium on Saturday as they beat Lymington for the second week in a row.
A Charlie Wise brace, including an 88th-minute winner, was enough to hand The Robins their fourth victory of the league campaign.
From minute one, the hosts took control of the game, with chance after chance falling the way of Evesham.
Wise opened the scoring in the 22nd minute with a potential goal of the season candidate, a beautifully placed shot from the left side of the Lymington box that bent into the far right corner.
Following this, both sides were held in a stalemate with neither team giving an inch, but in the 73rd minute, Luke Gray fired the visitors back level with a powerful strike from 25 yards out.
All hope looked lost for Evesham but a last-minute half-volley from Wise had The Robins 2-1 up with just a few kicks of the football remaining.

A blast on the whistle from the referee signalled full-time, a game where neither team played outstanding, but Evesham just did enough to walk away with the three points.
