Evesham travelled to Oxfordshire today to play Didcot Town who had been on a good run of form.  Evesham dominated early on and were rewarded midway through the half when Carl Brown set up Leigh Downing to side foot home.  Brown and Marcus Palmer then found themselves through on goal but missed the target.

In the second half Evesham should have scored more, Jamie Hyde had his shot touched on to the bar and Palmer missed a couple of good chances.  The defence played very well, which included debutant Richard Mansell ex Cirencester Town and Bishops Cleeve.

The win pushed Evesham three places up the league to 13th.  Next match at home to Wimborne Town on Tuesday night kick off 7.45pm
