Evesham secured a much-needed victory over Burnham this afternoon with a more confident display.

They took the lead on 5 minutes when Lance Smith set up Adam Mann who rounded the keeper and easily scored. Clayton Green then hit the back of the net, but the goal was disallowed for offside.

In the 38th minute, a pin point free kick from Nick Stanley saw Matt Sysum score with a header at the far post.   Green had another goal chalked off again for offside.

After the break a third goal was disallowed for offside after Green hit the post and Lance Smith scored the rebound.

In the 74th minute, Lance Smith scored after a good turn and shot.

With two minutes of normal time remaining, substitute Jacob Sloggett beat three players on the edge of the box and coolly finished into the top left corner.

A much improved performance and Evesham now move up to 11th place.
