Evesham secured back to back home wins and managed their third 5-0 success of the season at the Jubilee against 21st-placed Bashley.

On a cold but still evening Evesham had the better of the opening exchanges and went ahead on the 20 minute mark when Nick Stanley turned in Kevin Slack’s corner.  Six minutes later Stanley scored his second being given lots of time and space 15 yards out and was allowed to pick his spot.  It was three goals in eight minutes after Gloucester City loanee Adam Mann scored a great individual goal.

After a quiet start to the second half with Bashley coming into the game more, Evesham went 4-0 up in the 67th minute when Mann scored his second with a superbly curled left foot shot from 20 yards.

In the 82nd minute substitute Lance Smith fended off a couple of challenges before scoring from eight yards out.  Other chances were wasted before the final whistle with victory meaning Evesham climbed up one place to 13th.
