Evesham cruised to their first home league win of the season with a 5-0 victory over Swindon Supermarine.

The visitors put Evesham under pressure in the early stages and should have been ahead.  However the hosts went one up in the 25th minute when George Washbourne scored.

In the 43rd minute Evesham doubled their lead when a Washbourne corner was palmed into his own net by the goalkeeper Sam Warrell.

Early in the second half Marines Mark Flanagan was sent off after receiving two yellow cards in two minutes.

In the 73rd minute ex Supermarine striker Ashley Edenborough scored from close range after a free kick.  Five minutes later Cheltenham Town loanee Harry Williams scored the fourth.

Near the end Swindon Supermarine substitute Joe Shepherd received a straight red card for a reckless challenge.

On the final whistle Harry Williams added his second when he turned in Washbourne’s shot that came off the bar.
