After a great effort from the Mangotsfield ground staff to get the game on, it was the classic game of two halves due to a strong wind.  The home side had the advantage of the wind in the first half and scored twice through Ryan Bath on 12 minutes and a Lynden Dovey own goal on 40. Mangotsfield should have been out of sight of Evesham by half time.   The referee got injured and a replacement had to be found over half-time.

Evesham had the wind behind them in the second half and came more into the game. Lance Smith bagged a goal on 65 minutes but almost immediately, Lewis Powell made it 3-1 from close range. Evesham continued to create chances and Smith scored again on 82 minutes. Despite late pressure Mangotsfield held on to keep them in third place.
