Evesham went a goal down in the 5th minute when Brian Smikle rose to nod over Kevin Sawyer and in off the crossbar. Stourbridge controlled the game, but Evesham gradually came back culminating with Nick Stanley hitting the post with a shot.

Stourbridge went further ahead in the 64th minute when a Kayelden Brown shot went into the top corner of the net.

With 8 minutes to go debutant substitute Ty Night, promoted from the Reserves and only on the pitch a few minutes, struck a volley from 8 yards giving the keeper no chance.

So Evesham are out of all cup competitions and can concentrate on climbing the league table.
