Manager Paul Collicutt has urged Evesham United’s supporters to come out en masse at the Spiers and Hartwell Jubilee Stadium as they bid to beat Slimbridge tonight (7.45pm) according to the Worcester News.

The Robins have been in fine form in recent weeks having won their last four games in Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South and West, including a 6-0 home thrashing of AFC Totton.

Despite the impressive victory, Collicutt admitted his side have not been at their best at home and he believes the fans will make a big difference. “We took a number of supporters with us to North Leigh,” he said. “But it is important they now turn out at our place and push us on as we are looking to win our home games.

“If you are going to do well this season, you have got to win your home games and that’s what we will be aiming to do.”

Collicutt said he was also disappointed not to have played on Saturday having been knocked out of the FA Trophy by Spennymoor Town earlier this month.

And he does not want to see a repeat of their display earlier this season against Slimbridge.
