Evesham United manager Paul Collicutt is determined to see a response from his side against Tiverton Town at the Spiers and Hartwell Jubilee Stadium tomorrow (3pm) writes Steve Carley of the Worcester News.

The Robins’ four-game Calor Southern League Division One South and West unbeaten run ended on Tuesday with a 3-0 home defeat to Cinderford Town.

They also had right-back Jared Wilson sent off for two yellow cards, resulting in a one-game ban next month, while Collicutt felt keeper John Bateman was fouled in the build-up to Cinderford’s second goal.

But he wants his side to put the defeat behind them and focus on climbing the table against the seventh-placed Devonians.

Collicutt said: “It was disappointing having done pretty well in the last four games. The big thing now is how we bounce back and respond.

“We are playing a team who everybody tells me are the big spenders. We’re expecting a hard game.”

Striker Lance Smith could return after missing the Cinderford defeat with a calf injury sustained in Saturday’s 0-0 draw at Fleet Town.
