Trip to the Forest of Dean Tonight

Evesham United’s squad is likely to be unchanged for tonight’s trip to Cinderford Town (7.45) with Lewis Powell and Paul Fahy still sidelined.

The attacking duo were not involved in Saturday’s 2-0 triumph at Barnstaple Town with boss Paul Collicutt pessimistic about the prospect of either returning as the Robins look to boost their promotion push in Gloucestershire.

“Lewis was not involved after his thigh tightened up at Yate the Saturday before,” said Collicutt.

“Paul still has a fair amount of discomfort in his shoulder having damaged the ligaments so it looks like we will be without both again.”

Victory would move sixth-placed Evesham up to fourth in Southern League West.

Seven teams are within six points of United in that final play-off spot but of those teams only Didcot Town play a midweek league fixture.
