Evesham United manager Paul Collicutt had a shock on Tuesday night as he arrived for training at the Jubilee Stadium.

One of his players had taken his usual parking space…and filled it with a tractor (pictured below):

With his car booked in for an MOT, he took a different form of transport to training and with a top speed of 30mph, it took him longer than usual to make the journey up the A46.

“The gaffer was shocked to see it parked in his designated space, but he found it funny and laughed it off really,” Gilder said.

“I had to drive it from Cleeve to Evesham and back, which took a while, but it was either that or miss training.

Gilder confirmed he will be back in his Vauxhall Corsa for Thursday’s session.

“I did offer Paul Fahy a lift back to Stroud in the tractor, but he turned it down,” Gilder added.

“The gaffer also refused to give me any fuel money.”
