Statement – Season’s End
The FA and Leagues at Steps 3 to 6 have reached a consensus that the 2019/20 season for Steps 3 to 6 will be ended with immediate effect and all results will be expunged.
This will mean that there will be no promotion or relegation of Clubs between Steps 3 to 6, or relegation from Step 2.
In light of the above, these decisions will also apply to the Leagues and Clubs at Step 7 of the National League System.

The Southern, Isthmian and Northern Premier Leagues have implemented the process to terminate the season. This has to be ratified by the FA council, so there may be a short delay as the relevant documentation is submitted, distributed and approved.
Whilst this process is on-going, and once the National League has finalised how it wishes to proceed, competition issues can then be decided, together with the implications for promotion and relegation.

The League issues the following statement in respect to its playing season and the continuing Coronavirus situation.
Following the statement issued by the League on Friday 13th March 2020, it was indicated that a further statement would be forthcoming on Friday 20th March 2020.
It has been agreed that the League is officially suspended until 3rd April 2020. However, it should be noted that an Alliance Committee Meeting by Conference Call will be taking place during the evening of Monday 23rd March regarding the aforementioned and the season going forward. A further statement will therefore be issued on Tuesday 24th March.

Club Statement on Junior Football
As you are all aware football has been postponed until further notice, it is very unfortunate that we have not been able to complete all of our league fixtures, the weather also hasn’t helped with this. But most teams are only missing out on a few games.
These could be played at a later date if the Football Association change their stance on grassroots football.

Following a busy week for Neil Hunt, our interim manager and his team, the backroom staff have been bolstered by the arrival of Pete Haines, an A licence coach from Cheltenham Town under 18s, and Pete Sollis returning as physio.
Close on the heels of Carl Abbots departure, captain Dan Bragioli, Brian Smikle, Matt Dodds and Paul Sullivan have decided to look for pastures new. We would like to thank them all for all their efforts for the club and wish them good luck for the future.

Further to discussions this afternoon, a decision has been taken that ALL BETVICTOR SOUTHERN LEAGUE matches will be POSTPONED between Saturday 14th and Saturday 21st March inclusive. Therefore, there will be no matches taking place tomorrow (Saturday), next midweek or Saturday 21st March.
Therefore, Thatcham Town Away tomorrow, Highworth Town Wednesday and home to AFC Totton next Saturday all postponed.
