EVESHAM UNITED FC SQUAD 2021-22
Pete Haynes – Coach/Assistant Manager
Pete has joined the club as the First team coach. He is combining this role with his position at Cheltenham Town FC, where he is the Professional Development Phase Lead Coach within the academy and the U18’s Manager. Pete holds the UEFA A Licence and was one of the youngest people to achieve this qualification. He had previously been a Cheltenham Town academy player.
Pete Sollis – Physio
Pete has returned to EUFC as the club’s sports therapist / physio, having previously been here up until 2017. He had been working at Kidderminster Harriers in the interim. Pete brings a wealth of experience and qualifications to the role and will also be helping the youth section with their fitness.
Lewis Clayton – Goalkeeper
21-year-old Lewis signed for EUFC last summer having played at Cirencester Town the season before, he was also registered for Gloucester City. A former Cheltenham Town youth player, Lewis has also featured for Bishops Cleeve and IFK Mora (Sweden).
Josh Rogers – Goalkeeper
Josh has been a part of the EUFC set up for a number of years having played within the youth and U21 set up. He has also made appearances for local sides including Malvern Town.
Isaac Parry – Goalkeeper
Isaac is a product of the club’s youth system and has finally got his reward for dedication & commitment to the club this season, being promoted to the first team.
Ryan Paddock – Defender
Ryan is another player in his second spell at EUFC, originally signing in 2016. Ryan has also represented the British Army and has previously captained the side. Ryan has played for Bristol Rovers, Weston-Super-Mare, Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham Saracens, Cinderford Town, and Hinckley AFC.
Jordan Staten – Defender
Jordan was signed from Redditch United during last season, Jordan is a former England School boy International. He played at Burton Albion and Cheltenham Town before going to study at Hartpury College. He has also played for Bishops Cleeve.
Jordan Lymn – Defender
Jordan started his career at Cheltenham Town, before joining EUFC for the first time in 2017. He re-joined the club in the summer of 2019, having played at North Leigh, Westfields and Bishops Cleeve.
Matt Williams – Defender
Matt rejoined EUFC in the summer of 2020. He had two spells with Gloucester City after initially joining them in 2014. He then had his first spell at the Jubilee Stadium, before joining Hungerford Town in December 2017, where he stepped up two divisions to play National League South football. He then returned to Gloucester City for the 2018/19 season, but a few months in he joined Swindon Supermarine. Matt started his football career at Football League side Cheltenham Town, where he was captain of the Under 18s team.
Callum Clayton – Midfielder
Callum has now become part of the first team squad. He is a product of the club’s youth section and an excellent example of how commitment will reward you.
Charlie Johnson – Defender
Charlie signed for Evesham last season – he was previously with Cambridge United and Royston Town.
Lorcan Sheehan – Midfielder
Lorcan re-signed for EUFC during the summer of 2020, having previously played here between 2016 and 2018 during which time he made 51 appearances. He has also played for Bishops Cleeve and Cinderford Town.
Dan Tustin – Midfielder
Dan is a former youth team captain at Evesham United, who has progressed through to the first team squad. He spent most of last season playing at Pershore Town to gain valuable match time.
Adam Mace – Midfielder
Adam joined Evesham this summer from Bishops Cleeve where he had been the captain. He was also at Cheltenham Town as a junior, before also playing for Shortwood United and Slimbridge FC.
Jack re-signed for Evesham in the 2019-2020 season. Jack has also played at Slimbridge, Cirencester Town, Bishops Cleeve and Brimscombe & Thrupp.
Calvin Dinsley – Midfielder
Calvin signed from Swindon Supermarine in the summer of 2020. He started his career at West Bromwich Albion in the youth set-up. He then had spells with Cambridge United, Evesham United and Stourport Swifts, before playing in the National League South with both Gloucester City and Hereford.
Adam Page – Midfielder
A managers dream of a player to work with. Adam is an attacking left sided midfielder that has an eye for a goal or a killer pass. Previous clubs include Cheltenham Town, Hereford, Gloucester City & Redditch United
Tom Chamberlain – Midfielder
Tom joined EUFC in the summer of 2021, he is no stranger to The Robins having spent two loan spells with the club whilst at Cheltenham Town. Tom made his EFL debut in September 2019 at the age of 17.
Ben Hayes – Forward
Ben signed during the summer of 2020, his previous club was Westfields whom he spent four years playing for. He previously played for Malvern Town and Bishops Cleeve. Ben was at Evesham previously making a substitutes appearance for the first team in 2014.
Mike Symons – Forward
Mike needs no introduction to anybody involved in non-league football. He signed for the Robins this season from Southern League Premier Division South side Weston-Super-Mare. In four years at Hereford he played a big part in their three promotions. Symo’s former clubs also include Forest Green Rovers, Gloucester City, Worcester City and Oxford City.
Lance Smith – Forward
Lance has returned to his hometown club, where he broke into the non-league scene in the 2013-14 season, he scored 72 goals from 119 starts and 33 substitute appearances in four seasons before going on his football travels. He started at Littleton and Badsey Rangers before signing for the Robins. In 2017, Lance signed for Hereford FC playing for the Bulls for three seasons and scoring 30 goals. In 2020 he joined National League North, Leamington FC.
Brandon Smalley – Midfield/Forward
Signed in October 2021. A player that has both pace & power. Brandon has been plying his trade in the USA with Florida Tech, Electric City Shock & Ocean City Nor’easters. Other former clubs include Leeds United & Rochdale.
Joe Hunt – Defender (On-loan from Cheltenham Town)
