Management Profiles
Mike Ford – Manager
Mike, as a player represented Cardiff City and Oxford United, clocking up close to 500 league appearances, gaining two promotions during that time. Following retirement due to injury, Mike has managed Oxford United (twice in caretaker roles) and was also assistant manager there for a period. He then went on to manage Oxford City, (2009-2014) leading them to promotion to the National League Southern Division. He then moved to Banbury United (2015-2020) where he gained promotion from Evesham’s level in 2016, before establishing them in the Premier Division from that point. He helped manage St. Ives Town last season.
Mike is a UEFA A licensed coach, who has experience working with and developing young players, including being the Oxford United Youth Team Manager.
Anton Sambrook – Assistant Manager
Anton played 250 games for Banbury United and Brackley Town before starting his coaching career in 2004. He was part of Mike’s management team at Banbury United from 2016-20, also having a previous spell at the club as Assistant Manager from 2007/09. He had previous coaching and management roles at Bedworth United and Cogenhoe United before returning to Banbury in 2016. He also worked with Mike at St. Ives Town.
Mike Byrne – Coach
Mike is a vastly experienced and highly qualified coach. Mike is a FA Coach Developer and is the holder of the UEFA A licence for outfield and goalkeeping. He has previously held coaching positions with Forest Green Rovers’ first team and the youth academies at Bristol Rovers, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Swindon Town, as well as a number of non-league sides. Mike currently works full-time with Forest Green Rovers based in the Academy.
Player Profiles
Fraser Barnsley – Goalkeeper
Fraser re-joined the Robins on loan in March from Oxford United where he is a scholar. Fraser started the season with Evesham.
Adam Mace – Defender
Adam joined Evesham Bishops Cleeve where he had been the captain. He was also at Cheltenham Town as a junior, before also playing for Shortwood United and Slimbridge FC. Club captain.
Daniel Djurovic – Defender
Daniel joined from Redditch United, for whom he has made 19 appearances. Daniel is a defender who was previously in the academy at Birmingham City FC.
Charlie Johnson – Defender
Charlie Johnson, a left footed defender returns to Evesham United having been released by Yate Town. He turned out last season for Roman Glass St George and is a member of the successful Hartpury University football team.
Elliott Keightley – Defender
Elliott is a former Hartpury University graduate. He joined the club with a vast amount of Southern League experience. He has also enjoyed spells for North Leigh, Paulton Rovers and Yate Town, amongst others.
Michael O’ Regan – Defender
Michael played for Stratford Town last season and is a product of their Academy. He has also appeared for FC Stratford and Bishops Cleeve.
Charlie Wise – Defender
Charlie joined from Bromsgrove Sporting after spells at Brackley Town and before that a couple of seasons at Corby Town, when he joined in August 2019 from Banbury United. He was part of Banbury’s promotion-winning side of season 2015 leaving the club in August 2016 for Kidlington and then moving on to Wantage Town in February 2017. He re-signed for Banbury in September 2017. Charlie originally came through the Brackley Town youth system.
Rhys Bennett – Defender

Rhys made his debut last season and is the first product of the EUFC Academy to progress to the first team.
Ibrahim Sankoh – Defender
Second Year Oxford United scholar Ibrahim Sankoh, a defender, joined us in late March for the rest of the season.
Brennan Denness-Barrett – Midfielder

He is a former Cheltenham Town scholar having spent time at Stratford Town during pre-season.
Jordan Lymn – Midfielder
Jordan started his career with League One side Cheltenham Town. Whilst at Whaddon Road, he had loan spells at Bishops Cleeve, Shortwood United and North Leigh. He initially signed for Evesham in June 2017 but returned to North Leigh on a more permanent basis five months later. He returned to Evesham in the summer of 2018 but left for Westfields before returning to Evesham once more in July 2020. He switched to Southern Division One Central outfield Cirencester Town in the summer of 2022.
Kyle Belmonte – Midfielder
Kyle joined from Bewdley Town after playing for Alvechurch, where he had been since July 2020. He moved to Lye Meadow from Worcester Raiders. He previously gained experience with Redditch United in 2017/18 and was also on the books at Stratford Town, Worcester City, Kidderminster Harriers, Malvern Town, Walsall Wood and Upton Town.
Ben Hammett – Midfielder
Ben arrives at the club from Yate Town and is another talent to emerge from Hartpury University. Ben is a midfielder hailing from Bury St Edmonds. He spent time with AFC Sudbury before his move to Yate.
Chris Knowles – Midfielder
Chris started his career within the Bashley youth system and made his way into the senior team in the 2004/2005 season. He then appeared for Salisbury and then Bashley where he made over 250 appearances. He moved to Australia for three years, where he played his football for Wolves FC, and upon returning to the UK in 2014, he dual registered with Cirencester Town and Gloucester City. For Gloucester, Chris made over 150 appearances at National League North and South level. Chris joined Weston-Super -Mare in December 2019 where he played until sustaining a knee injury. Chris took on a coaching role in 2021.
Alfie Dunn – Midfielder
Alfie has moved from United Counties League Premier Division South side Easington Sports. He came through the Sports` youth section.
Josh Aldridge – Midfielder
A talented ball playing midfielder was recently released by League One side Cheltenham Town after a two-year scholarship at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium with his home-town club.
Ethan Moran – Midfielder
Midfielder Ethan signed from Worcester City where he had played 15 times and scored two goals this season. He signed for Stourbridge in August 2021 and chalked up 44 appearances (17 + 27 sub) for the Club during his thirteen-month stay and scored three times.
He had previously progressed through the youth and reserve ranks into the first team at Worcester City in 2018/19. He had a couple of loan stints at Malvern Town before making the move on a more permanent basis during the 2019/20 season. He was also involved with the Kidderminster Harriers academy set-up and had linked up with Lye Town in October 2020.
Will Owens – Midfielder
18 year-old Will joined us on loan from Oxford United and is a versatile player who can play left-wing or left-back and had his scholarship extended this summer.
Jack Hallahan – Midfielder
Jack joined us from Alvechurch, with whom he has made 15 appearances this season. Jack is a former Burton Albion schoolboy and under 19 Irish International. He has also turned out for Coalville Town, Hednesford Town for three seasons and Bromsgrove Sporting.
Ashley Sammons – Midfielder
Ashley Sammons signed from Halesowen Town on dual registration in late March.
Ashley began his career with Birmingham City for whom he made one appearance, in the League Cup. He moved into non-league football with Hereford United, Worcester City, Redditch United (three spells), Corby Town and Hednesford Town before joining National League club Solihull Moors in 2017. He then joined Redditch for a fourth time, initially on a dual registration, in November 2017, and left Moors in January 2018. He subsequently played for Rushall Olympic and Stratford Town.
Ben Whitehead – Forward
Ben signed for Cirencester Town in the summer of 2017 from Didcot Town. His previous clubs included Swindon Supermarine, Didcot Town, Wantage Town and Chippenham Town. Ben netted an incredible 86 goals in 87 games in two seasons at Cirencester Town. He moved to Weston-Super-Mare in June 2019. However, after a series of injuries and the pandemic, Ben re-joined Cirencester Town initially on-loan and then permanently last season.
Dan Griffiths – Forward (On loan)
Dan Griffiths is on loan from National League South Chippenham Town. He signed on a two-year deal for Town in Summer 2021 from Cardiff City, having joined the Welsh side from Liverpool in the Summer of 2018. He is a Welsh youth international forward. He also played for Cymru Premier side Penybont during the 2019/20 season.
Ricky Johnson – Forward
The 34 year old has not played since the end of the 2020/2021season having scored 124 goals in 372 appearances. In three spells he played most of his football at Banbury United and had previously turned out for clubs such as Leamington, Brackley Town and Ardley United.
