EVESHAM UNITED FC SQUAD 2020-21
Neil Hunt – Manager
Neil stepped up from being the U18’s manager in March. His involvement at Evesham has been over a number of years, including being the assistant manager here in the past. Neil’s other management experience has seen him in charge at Malvern Town, Stourport Swifts and Pershore Town. He is focussed on helping the club to develop a pathway for the juniors to have opportunities to make it to the first team. Neil had been on Cheltenham Town’s books as a youngster.
Pete Haynes – Coach/Assistant Manager
Pete has joined the club as the First team coach. He is combining this role with his position at Cheltenham Town FC, where he is the Professional Development Phase Lead Coach within the academy and the U18’s Manager. Pete holds the UEFA A Licence and was one of the youngest people to achieve this qualification. He had previously been a Cheltenham Town academy player.
Pete Sollis – Physio
Pete has returned to EUFC as the club’s sports therapist / physio, having previously been here up until 2017. He had been working at Kidderminster Harriers in the interim. Pete brings a wealth of experience and qualifications to the role and will also be helping the youth section with their fitness.
Lewis Clayton – Goalkeeper
20-year-old Lewis signed for EUFC this summer having played at Cirencester Town last season, he was also registered for Gloucester City. A former Cheltenham Town youth player, Lewis has also featured for Bishops Cleeve and IFK Mora (Sweden).
Josh Rogers – Goalkeeper
21-year-old Josh has been a part of the EUFC set up for a number of years having played within the youth and U21 set up. He has also made appearances for local sides including Malvern Town.
Ryan Paddock – Defender
31-year-old Ryan is another player in his second spell at EUFC, originally signing in 2016. Ryan has also represented the British Army and has previously captained the side. Ryan has played for Bristol Rovers, Weston-Super-Mare, Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham Saracens, Cinderford Town, and Hinckley AFC.
Jordan Staten – Defender
21-year-old Jordan was signed from Redditch United during last season, Jordan is a former England School boy International. He played at Burton Albion and Cheltenham Town before going to study at Hartpury College. He has also played for Bishops Cleeve.
Jordan Lymn – Defender
22-year-old started his career at Cheltenham Town, before joining EUFC for the first time in 2017. He re-joined the club in the summer, having played at North Leigh, Westfields and Bishops Cleeve.
Will Davidson – Defender
20-year-old Will has previously been on the books of Redditch United, Forest Green and Studley. He signed for EUFC during the summer.
Matt Williams – Defender
26-year-old Matt rejoined EUFC this summer. He had two spells with Gloucester City after initially joining them in 2014. He then had his first spell at the Jubilee Stadium, before joining Hungerford Town in December 2017, where he stepped up two divisions to play National League South football. He then returned to Gloucester City for the 2018/19 season, but a few months in he joined Swindon Supermarine. Matt started his football career at Football League side Cheltenham Town, where he was captain of the Under 18s team.
Callum Clayton – Midfielder
17-year-old Callum has been a regular for the U18’s over the last season, he has now become part of the first team squad.
Charlie Johnson – Defender
19-year-old Charlie has signed for Evesham this season – he was previously with Cambridge United and Royston Town.
Will Holland – Midfielder
18-year-old Will has come through the youth team set up at Evesham, featuring for the U18’s last year.
Henry McMahon – Forward
17-year-old Henry is another of the EUFC juniors he broke into the first team squad last season, making his debut, whilst also featuring regularly for the U18 squad.
Lorcan Sheehan – Midfielder
31-year-old Lorcan re-signed for EUFC during the summer, having previously played here between 2016 and 2018 during which time he made 51 appearances. He has also played for Bishops Cleeve and Cinderford Town.
Dan Tustin – Midfielder
21-year-old, Dan is a former youth team captain at Evesham United, who has progressed through to the first team squad. He spent most of last season playing at Pershore Town to gain valuable match time.
Adam Mace – Midfielder
25-year-old, Adam Mace joined Evesham this summer from Bishops Cleeve where he had been the captain. He was also at Cheltenham Town as a junior, before also playing for Shortwood United and Slimbridge FC.
Joe Heywood – Defender
20-year-old Joe is another product of the Evesham United youth set up, having played for the U18’s under then manager Neil Hunt. He spent most of last season on loan at Fairfield Villa gaining valuable experience.
Jack Horrell – Midfielder
26-year-old Jack re-signed for Evesham in the close-season, Jack has also played at Slimbridge, Cirencester Town, Bishops Cleeve and Brimscombe & Thrupp.
Calvin Dinsley – Midfielder
29-year- old Calvin signed from Swindon Supermarine in the summer. He started his career at West Bromwich Albion in the youth set-up. He then had spells with Cambridge United, Evesham United and Stourport Swifts, before playing in the National League South with both Gloucester City and Hereford.
Jamie Clarke – Forward
30-year-old Jamie is one of the local players, taking his opportunity to impress, Jamie has signed for Evesham United having previously played for a number of sides including Pershore Town, Studley and Littleton. He has represented both England and Great Britain at the Deaf World Cup and Deaflympics.
Ben Hayes – Forward
26-year-old Ben signed during the summer, his previous club was Westfields whom he spent 4 years playing for. He previously played for Malvern Town and Bishops Cleeve. Ben was at Evesham previously making a substitutes appearance for the first team in 2014.
Jamie Lucas – Forward
24-year-old Jamie was on-loan here last season from Halesowen Town. Jamie started his career with Bristol Rovers and made four appearances in the Football League. After several loan moves, Jamie went on to play for Bath City, Brackley Town and Weston-Super-Mare all in the National League South or North.
Aaron Basford – Forward
18-year-old Aaron Basford joined Evesham United this summer. He had previously been at the Jubilee Stadium last season on loan from Cheltenham Town where he had been within their scholarship programme. Aaron also had loan spells with Cinderford Town and Worcester City.
Josh Hunt – Forward
26-year-old Josh joined the club in the summer, he has previously played for Cinderford Town and Malvern Town.
