United warmed up for Saturday’s clash with top of the table Poole Town with an emphatic 15-0 victory over Growers United on Tuesday night.  Manager Matt Clarke fielded a full strength squad in the match.  The game was to mark the end of the growing season in the Vale of Evesham with all proceeds going to Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Striker Marcus Palmer led the way with four goals while Nathan Hicks, Danny Holgate and latest signing Gavin Hurren got two each.  At the final whistle Palmer was named as the Robins man-of-the-match and Mark Dyer star man for the Growers. Despite the wet and windy conditions a decent crowd turned up at the Spiers & Hartwell Jubilee Stadium with £2,000 now raised for the Children’s Hospital.
