Matt Williams Joins Hungerford Town

Regrettably defender Matt Williams has today decided to leave Evesham United to join National League South Club Hungerford Town, who play two divisions higher than the Robins.

Matt returned for a second spell last season and signed a contract in the summer.  He started 23 games this season scoring three goals.

The Club wish him all the best for the future and as manager Paul Collicutt said “it is difficult to stand in the way when a player has the chance to play at a higher level.”
