The Mercian Festival Junior Football League will now kick off what has become a traditional event, its Under 8’s Fun Day on Saturday 15th September at 1.30p.m. at our ground.
14 teams are participating, and with 3 pitches in use teams will play short games against each other in small groups simultaneously. The duration of the event will be approx 3 hours and in accordance with FA Rules no statistics from games will be kept. At the end of the event on completion of the last game all registered players will receive the same memento of the day welcoming them to the Mercian Festival Junior Football League.
There is no Admission Charge but there will be a raffle in aid of League Funds. Hot & Cold Refreshments will be on sale and toilet facilities will be available.
The League is to provide Referees dressed in their kit to add to the occasion for the young players.
